worked well.
This is NOT a direct fit for YJ Wranglers as advertised. YJ and TJ have different bolt patterns for the fuel tank skid flange. The 4 bolts holes for the skid do NOT line up to the YJ skid. I have to drill 4 new holes and file them square to install the carriage bolts to make this work. Also, this crossmember does not have a pair of inner mounting holes to mount the OEM style YJ bumperettes. This may not be a problem if you are using an aftermarket bumper. The crossmember needs to be fully WELDED to the side frame rails for installation. This should be noted in the product description rather than just the 'wrench' image. In the end I needed to drill 6 new holes to make this work! I would have purchased Auto Rust Technicians ART-110 instead which is specific for YJ fitment only and I presume has all of the bolt holes in the correct locations.
