Will this work on the front axle on a 2015 Hard Rock?
No, this is for the rear, the front is 68017176AA
Will this fit a JK unlimited with a dana 44 rear axle?
Yes but keep in mind that without the Rubicon switch system on board you will not be able to operate the locker feature on this. Also bear in mind that you will have to change your axle shafts, whereas Rubicons are 32 spline axles and standard 44's are 30 Spline
