So the Jeep world went all abuzz Tuesday when spy shots emerged showing grainy photos of several highly-anticipated Jeep vehicles - including what many believe are the Grand Wagoneer and JL Wrangler.

But nowhere in that photo lineup was the Jeep Truck.

Or was it?

The photos, apparently snapped on the sly during a recent Jeep dealer meeting, also include looks at the Renegade, Cherokee, and Grand Cherokee, but truthfully it seemed everyone hyper-focused on what appeared to be the next generation Wrangler and Grand Wagoneer.

And why not.

After all, both are mouth-watering vehicles Fiat Chrysler is rolling out over the next few years and real details on these have been extremely scarce. Yet, on further review, is that giant machine on the far right actually the Grand Wagoneer - or is it just a oddly-scaled version of the Grand Cherokee, perhaps an SRT that we don't know about yet?

Then we come to the JL Wrangler. Or at least the front end shot of what many speculate is the JL. It has the Wrangler look, the bumper, round headlights, and LED strips on the flare many have said will accompany the new JL. But then you look at the rear of the vehicle and something stands out. Every other vehicle shown has their full, um, backside revealed. Top to bottom. On the Wrangler, we just see the Renegade-style taillights, tailgate, and spare tire. Nothing above.

Could this actually be the Wrangler Truck?

Now, this may just be wishful thinking or seeing something that really isn't there - after all, it could be a black soft top with a tinted rear window - and why would Jeep put a spare tire on a truck tailgate, but you'd think something would have shown up above the tailgate in that photo if it was the JL.

Regardless, it does make for an interesting look. And that's about all we have to go on for a few more weeks.

Thoughts?
