Jeep Lockers

Lockers allow for true 'four wheel drive' in your vehicle, meaning they help distribute power equally to both wheels on an axle regardless if one is suspended or has no traction. Most lockers are considered 'on demand', meaning you can manually activate the locker as needed when traction is an issue. These types include air, cable and electric-type lockers and all can be activated by a switch placed either on the A pillar or dash. Limited slip differentials are a less aggressive type of traction control, and work both on and off road to control traction. A LSD system works automatically to sense when one wheel loses traction and helps adjust torque to control tire spin.
