| The sway bar on 97-06 Wranglers is located up on top of the chassis leaving the bottom of the radiator exposed. In addition, the factory radiator uses a plastic bottom tank that can be broken leaving you without coolant. This guard is made from 1/8" thick steel and attaches in two places. The body mount under the grill and the passenger side of the chassis. Minor drilling is required for the mount on the passenger side. All hardware is provided. | These skid plates are completely bolt-on and protect the mounting tabs of the lower control arms on the Dana 30 or 44 front axle. Why does this matter?
