Description
The Jeep Hoist-A-Top is a must have for Wrangler owners. The new Hoist-A-Top makes removing and storing a hardtop an easy, one -person job. The Hoist-A-Top supports any top with a well-balanced steel frame using the new Balance Blade™. Rubber coated hooks and foam-covered hardware will protect your top's finish. The Lange Hoist-A-Top uses an incredibly strong steel powder coated frame that quickly attaches to your vehicle top without any drilling. The rear Smart Hook™ allows you to lift and store your hardtop with the rear window closed which will improve the balance as well as take up less storage space. With the push of a button a small electric winch mounted to the ceiling will lift your top to the ceiling in your garage or carport for convenient, out-of-the-way storage.

I purchased a Lange Hoist A Top from Quadratec. When it arrived there was a part missing . I contacted Lange who were very responsive and sent the part right out. I received it in several days . The hoist works great and makes a 2 person job into a one person job. Storage of my top is not an issue any more. I would recommend this product to anyone who removes their hardtop for the summer

How far from the ceiling will it hang down with a side wall mount? I have a 9'3" ceiling, will it hand down 3 ft? i.e. the bottom of the jeep top only 6' from the floor?
The power hoist is equipped with up to 40 feet of cable and can hang to a selected height. 3' of ceiling height clearance should be plenty to safely lift and potentially store the hardtop. Thanks for your inquiry.

Is it mandatory to store the 2 front pieces upside down on top of the top or can i leave those in their bag & store elsewhere?
Also do you have a photo of the top raised all the way up in storage position?

No. Storing your freedom panels on the hoist is an option if you prefer. It is not required to mount your Freedom panels on the hoist for top removal. Thanks for your inquiry.

Will this work with a 10 to 12 foot sloped ceiling, mounting the hoist on the wall at the 10 feet?
This is designed to be mounted on a flat plane. If your ceiling is anything other than parallel to the floor consult a contractor/professional as additional supports for your power unit will be needed. Thank you for your question.
