Description
Don't let water ruin the inside of your Jeep. The Fairchild Industries Cowl Rubber Seal for the YJ Wrangler is a direct replacement for the dry-rotted, cracked seal that is still under the windshield frame from the factory. Replacing a rotten seal can save a lot of time and hassle later by prolonging the life of the steel parts that it separates. Lower or remove the windshield frame and scrape the pinch weld and this seal will sit firmly in place to keep water out for another 30 years

Will this gasket fit a 2016 Jeep Unlimited?
Unfortunately this will not fit, but Farichild does make a version for your Jeep, please see #D4160

How is this installed?
Remove the windshield frame and clean the surface from where the old seal is removed. Most people apply a thin layer of silicone sealant to the rubber gasket prior to installation for a more water tight seal. The seal is formed to grip the cowl and seat properly. Replace windshield frame and adjust for connection to the sport bar.
