Mopar 55395651AC Hood Prop Rod for 07-11 Jeep Wrangler JK

Custom fit but I did have to use my own self drilling screw to secure it.

My original (2009) prop rod had come off due to rust destroying the top half of the rivet. I replaced with this one but realized at time of install that in my specific case it would be impossible to use the original factory rivet recommended below without disassembling the front of the frame to remove the remaining back half of the rivet that had not rusted. Instead, I used a self tapping hex bolt with a very small diameter and a large head (chosen by eyeballing/comparing a bunch that I had laying around). This was able to catch the inside of the rivet nicely and was a very quick install (most of the time was spent selecting the bolt). Only four stars because they recommend using/purchasing the original rivet, that would have been a very very long day of work for me. Five stars for actual product and the fast 2 day shipping option.
