JKS Manufacturing Front Trackbar Chassis Brace for 07-12 Jeep Wrangler JK with 2"+ Lift

The newest reinforcement bracket from JKS Manufacturing is the Front Trackbar Chassis Brace. This heavy-duty bracket slips over the factory front track bar mount and connects it to the chassis and OE mount at eight additional points. Once installed, the front upper track bar mount becomes rock solid and strong enough to withstand any amount of punishment.

The Trackbar Chassis Brace is made from three pieces of heavy-gauge steel that gets laser cut, formed and folded to exacting tolerances. All of the pieces interconnect before they are robotically welded together, producing an extremely rigid structure that fits perfectly over the factory mount. The vertical upper portion has four mounting holes which perfectly align with the steering box sleeves that pass through the chassis rail. This is one of the strongest parts of the Wrangler JK chassis. The entire bracket is powdercoated to provide excellent protection from the elements.

Installation of the Trackbar Chassis Brace is completely bolt-on and no modifications to the vehicle are required, as long as the factory bracket is undamaged. If the factory bracket is already damaged or deformed, it must be properly repaired before installing this product. For best results, JK owners should install the Trackbar Chassis Brace before the factory bracket begins to weaken, as this will prevent the OE mount from failing on the trail, leaving the vehicle immobilized and the occupants stranded.

The original equipment track bar brackets on Wrangler JK models have proven to be far less capable than the rest of the vehicle. When a suspension lift, larger tires or hydraulic assist steering is installed, the track bar transmits excessive force and leverage to the factory mounting brackets. Over time, the bracket will fatigue and small stress fractures will develop where it was welded to the chassis. Once the OE bracket begins to weaken, failure is imminent.
