SSV means Speed Smart Valving. These shocks are constantly self-adjusting as they sense the road, so you do not have to think about (or adjust) knobs, buttons, or hydraulic lines. These are low-pressure nitrogen gas charged for reduced oil foaming. They clearly outperform normal foam cell shocks. Speed sensitive valving works on compression and rebound for a very controlled ride. The tough gray finish provides a distinctive look and great resistance to corrosion.
