Plate worked perfect. I hit a rock pretty hard and the plate took it like a champ. I lost a little paint. Without the plate, I would have caused some serious damage to my Jeep.

I bought this item because of the advertised 1/4" thick steel. I am disappointed to find that it is actually 3/16", which seems to be the industry standard. Customer Service verified with Fabtech that it is indeed 3/16". Other than that, it seems to be a nice item, good welds. I will keep it sense there isn't a point of returning it if 3/16" is all that is available.
