Damper/Crank sensor kit 1991-03 This kit aids in the installation of a 4.0L engine into an early model Jeep that does not have a provision for the stock sensor. It can also be used when installing a Turbo 400 or 700R4 transmission. This kit re-locates the firing pattern and crank sensor to the front of the engine. This eliminates the problem of drilling the bellhousing and indexing a stock sensor.

Product Details

his kit will work with all 4.0L engines from 1991-2003. Designed to trigger the ignition from the harmonic balancer instead of the flywheel. Provides a simple alternative to having to replace the bell housing or trying to index a sensor in the stock bell housing.If you are using a factory harness from the donor vehicle your connector may not fit the crank sensor. replace it with crank sensor connector #56016983.
