Jeep owners need more power and better protection from dust, mud and moisture. Volant delivers with its highly effective Cool Air Intake system. Volant didn't cut any corners when it developed this JK Wrangler kit. The cross-link polyethylene air box and duct work is engineered for fantastic fit and function. It insulates and protects the filter from hot engine compartment air, thus increasing horsepower. The air tube features a less restrictive air passage to the throttle body with larger diameters and smooth transitions for maximum horsepower and quicker throttle response from the 3.8L engine. Kit includes a cleanable and reusable Volant Pro 5 filter element that reduces air restriction to increase air flow. High performance silicone connectors provide flexibility, strength and thermal stability and marine grade stainless steel clamps provide strong air tight seals. The JK Volant Cool Air intake is compatible with the JK optional Volant Periscoop snorkel.
Volant Filter Box: Cross-link polyethylene filter box is engineered to specific design. It insulates and protects the filter from pulling hot air from the engine compartment, thus, increasing horsepower.
Volant Air Duct: Cross-link polyethylene air ducts are sculptured to give the engine a less restrictive air pass to breathe. Larger diameters, unique bends and smooth transitions gives you maximum horsepower and awesome throttle response.
Volant Ram Filter: Cleanable and reusable high grade filter media reduces air restriction and increases engine output. Precision pleat geometry optimizes airflow throughout the intake system.
Carbon Fiber lid look: Allows easy access with a sleek carbon fiber look.
