Description

AEV's Pre-Filter is designed to extend engine filter life in the dustiest environments. By inhaling air and forcing it into a high-speed, cyclonic motion - heavy dust and water is forced to the outside of the Pre-Filter's bowl where it is captured. The remaining clean air is then drawn down the neck of the Snorkel body and over to the engine's air filter. Because the air charge that arrives at the air filter is so clean, the air filter's life is dramatically increased. Replacement Part for the AEV Snokel.

Fitment

Over the course of time, the driver will notice that the clear bowl of the Pre-Filter will begin to show signs of filling with dirt and other debris. This is an indication that it should be emptied and reinstalled, which is a quick and easy process. It should be noted that AEV's Pre-filter uses no paper of foam filter elements. It works entirely on cyclonic air movement and centrifugal force. As a result, it is simple, easy to maintain and will last for years.
