In response to the high failure rate of stock Jeep® headers, Gale Banks Engineering has designed a bulletproof exhaust header that's built to last a lifetime, and backs it with a lifetime warranty. It's common for a primary tube in original Jeep manifolds to separate at the collector. Banks eliminates the possibility of cracking or separating with superior construction & materials. While other aftermarket suppliers typically use 304 or mild steel with coatings that quickly burn off, Banks builds Torque Tube Headers with rugged, 409 stainless steel. Flanges are welded 360° on both sides, to stand up to heat, stress and abuse. By increasing exhaust flow, Torque Tubes optimize the torque curve of the popular 4.0L Wrangler engine. Power & efficiency improve, along with the exhaust note. Banks Headers and optional head pipes* bolt on with ease and are priced very competitively.
