Flowmaster 817729 Force II Stainless Steel Dual Exit Axle Back Exhaust for 12-18 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited JK

Ah, the wonderful sound of the Flowmaster. Not loud or annoying at all.

Purchased the Flowmaster Force II Stainless Steel Dual Exit Axle Back Exhaust for 2016 Jeep® Wrangler JK Unlimited. First i will say i have loved flowmaster in the past for full exhaust with hooker headers. Naturally I thought I would be ver happy to add Flowmaster Force II Dual exhaust to my JKU build.

I did some research to see if anyone had done a review and only saw some YouTube videos. thought it sounded pretty good so based on prior experience and being really happy with Flowmaster exhaust in the past I figured I couldn't go wrong.

Got the exhaust on a wednesday and put it in on a friday. Easy install and was really happy! Started my Jeep and was immediately not too thrilled with the sound.... I figured I'd take my Jeep for a test drive. Exceleration sounded ok off the start and into 1st gear then into 2nd gear... as soon as I reached 2500 RPM it sounded like a Honda Civic with one of those huge mufflers off the back. The sound is beyond horrible. I'm sad and shocked Flowmaster would put a product out like this. I use to look at Flowmaster as the best of the best. Embarrassed to drive my Jeep and have to see if I will be able to return the Flowmaster Force II. Hard lesson learned

I'm going to just go back to stock exhaust because this was such a bad experience. I'm afraid of trying another bolt on exhaust to get the sound I'm looking for. Final note I also feel adding the Flowmaster Force II also took some pep out of my V6 3.6. Sorry to crush your excitement but Isadly.... I STRONGLY suggest not purchasing the Flowmaster Force II.
