Derale Performance 20162Q Waterproof Electric Cooling Fan for 87-06 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ & TJ Unlimited

I have a black (sun absorbing) 2004 Jeep Wrangler and I live in Alabama, 97 degrees today. I'm very pleased with the fan. My Jeep temp ran above 210, maybe up to 212 or 214 on a hot day at idle. I installed the fan and a lower thermostat and now my Jeep runs cooler, below 210. It also helped my air conditioning especially at idle. Quick install notes to help someone: Do not install a fuse on the orange wire even if your instructions show to do so. A call for support confirmed that I had old install instructions. For my 2004 the green wire goes to a blue and black strip wire on the center of the firewall where the wire harness connects. Confirm this with a test light before making the connection. FAN WORKS GREAT!

Very pleased with the quality of this fan system. The fit was perfect, albeit a little tight, but the results live up to the price. Time will tell about the longevity of the parts but so far I am happy!

I live in Arizona so I updated my cooling system to handle the high heat in the desert while of road. The Derale Performance 20162Q Waterproof Electric Cooling fan was added to the Mishimoto performance radiator and Flowkooler high volume water pump. The only thing that needs to be corrected is the correct screws for mounting the radiator. I took out on a long run last week and it worked flawlessly.
