Description
When it comes to off road racing seats, it really doesn't get better than the Baja XP. Years of research and design have gone into creating this stunning seat. When you combine feedback from enthusiasts with the expertise of Corbeau, you get a seat that is hands down, the best! Whether you're an extreme off-road racer or a casual weekend off-roader, the Baja XP will enhance your overall driving experience. The Baja XP is equipped with the Corbeau Suspension System, which has been proven to provide superior cushioning and significant energy return upon impact. The suspension system creates somewhat of a trampoline effect, which absorbs the impact that your back would otherwise endure. Its extra high side bolsters will absolutely eliminate body shifting. You'll be able to keep your focus on the road and not on body positioning. As a rule of thumb, the Baja XP will fit up to a 38-40 inch waist. The Baja XP Suspension Seat is available in a Black Vinyl/Cloth fabric or Black Vinyl. These aftermarket seats are not recommended in vehicles with seats equipped with factory airbag systems

Details

Bolster Support: Ultimate lateral support with well-defined thigh, kidney, and shoulder bolsters will allow both the driver and passenger to remain in the optimal seating position. The reduction of body shifting will reduce the amount of driver fatigue and enhance the overall driving experience.

Harness Capability: This seat has harness slots for 3, 4 and 5-point harness capability. A submarine slot is already installed for a 5th strap.

Suspension System: The seat base is reinforced with nylon and inner laced with military grade suspension cords. For driving which encounters several impacts, like off-road driving, the suspension technology helps to absorb the energy at impact, keeping you and your back safe. In addition the suspension allows for a soft driving experience in an otherwise rough driving condition.

Fabric: Extra durable, automotive grade cloth and vinyl materials. Contains UV inhibitors. This seat has been extensively tested under extreme conditions and found to be colorfast.

Steel Frame: Extra strong, lightweight, powder coated tubular steel frame.

Vertical Mounting Tabs: The bottom of the Baja XP Off-Road Suspension seat has four vertical tabs designed to mount directly to your roll bar or roll cage. You can also purchase a Baja Adapter, which will mount to those tabs and create a flat-bottom mounting surface. Baja Adapters are required to mount the Baja XP to Corbeau brackets.

Will this seat, Quadratec Part #: 24226.5001, Corbeau Part #: 68802B bolt directly onto my '86 CJ-7 factory risers? and Are they a universal fit? (will this same seat fit both driver and passenger side?) Thanks, love the site and your products. -Steve
No. Sorry, an adapter is required on Baja seats because of the tabs they use on the bottom of the seats. https://www.quadratec.com/products/24291_1003.htm. The adapters are and seats are either side. Reference the newly added line drawing for comparisons to OE seating for an idea of fit in CJ Jeeps. If you have further questions Jeeps specialists can be reached at 800-745-6037. Do this seats bolt directly to YJ seat risers or is an adapter needed?
