Bestop TrailMax II Classic Low Back Front Seat Reviews
Absolutely love these seats! I was looking for that “old school” look….accomplished!!
Installed both seats WITHOUT removing the risers, just the four 40T (torx) bolts that are located within the sliders. I just slid seat all the way forward to get to the front bolts and all the way back to get access to the rear bolts. I used a yellow paint pen to mark the bolt holes on the bottom of each seat, set seat on sliders and was able to get bolts screwed in. Easier to partially screw in rear bolts first, then the front bolts. Don’t tighten bolts all the way down until all four are attached to the bottom of the seat (to leave wiggle room to line up holes). After all four are threaded into the bottom of the seat, then slowly tighten the bolts fully into the bottom of the seats. You can only tighten two at a time(the front, then the rear).
Total install for both seats was just under 2 hours.
Hunt from jeep. Low back, not original for jeep, but vision not obstructed by high backed seats.
Bought this seat for my husband for Christmas to replace the old seat in our ‘78 CJ5. He was thrilled! He says it was easy to install and exactly like the old one, only comfortable and doesn’t need to be “blocked” up in the back. He says it’s definitely a great seat and a very good purchase.
