Description
The Crown Automotive Aluminum Valve Cover Kits are a direct replacement and upgrade for factory Jeep 4.0L engines. Each valve cover cast out of aluminum with integrated fins to promote cooling and keep the oil at proper temps. Increased internal clearance allows for the use of oversized camshafts and high clearance rocker arms. Available in Red, Yellow or Black.

Purchased for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Works great, no more leaks from the warped original cover. Be sure to purchase the plastic vent tubes as you won't be able to recover the original ones out of the original stamped steel. Only issue is the fill cap fits tightly into place with a punch with a fist, then pry off with your finders to open. Big issue is the cap can get wore and will become loose in the fill hole; the cap used to be sold separately, but not any more.
