Replace your balky AX15 or AX5 with a New Venture NV4500 Transmission. The NV4500 is used in both the GM & Dodge truck applications. There have been numerous NV4500 transmission conversions in almost every type of 4WD vehicle due to its nearly indestructible design. The factory transmissions used in Wranglers have proven to be inadequate for aggressive off-road driving. They do not hold up over time under extreme conditions. The NV4500 is the ultimate HD Tranny. Features include 5.61:1 first gear with a 27% overdrive.

Product Details

We offer complete NV4500 adapter packages to replace AX15 transmissions used in 89-99 6 cylinders and NV4500 adapter packages for 89-01 four cylinder Wrangler w/ AX5 transmission. Most kits include bell housing when necessary, transfer case adapter, crossmember mount, clutch linkage, and necessary transfer case linkage components and (of course) a brand new NV4500 transmission. These kits are very complete.

Some modification required: ( Shift linkage, cutting floor, etc).

If customer is doing a 4 to 6 cyl engine swap, additional parts are required: 99999 716130 & 52251 130F
