Auto Rust Technicians Part #: ART-114
Description
A huge problem that's common to CJs and early Wranglers is frame rust. Over time, moisture and silt gets trapped inside the frame rails causing severe rust through. These rusted out areas create a very unsafe condition and can result in failed safety inspections in many states. Our prefabricated replacement parts rebuild the damaged frame sections with no additional metal fabrication required. All kits come with helpful instructions and are intended to be installed by people with average auto-body welding skills. We make it easy. If you are not a welder, you may find that your local body shop will install our kits for you. These parts save time and money and are the perfect cure for failed frames. Repair sections feature factory standard metal thickness, welded construction and bare steel finish. Made in USA.
Details

Fits 1997-2003 Wrangler TJ. Replace that rusted out original crossmember with this heavy-duty weld in unit. If you are repairing rear shackle mounts, then this premium crossmember will tie it all together. Factory installed rubber mounts between the body and the rear crossmember accelerate the corrosion process. The heavy-duty crossmember is the perfect solution. This crossmember ties the two frame rails together and supports the rear of the body and the bumper mounts. Precision CNC cut from heavy gauge steel, surpassing factory specifications.
