Description
The Alloy USA® H/D ball joints have been designed with a low profile (grease) zerk fitting for regular maintenance, a feature not offered on factory replacement parts. Inner insert has been replaced with a high strength steel socket. (Replaces factory plastic nylon insert). This steel insert greatly increases ball joint strength and durability. This is a Must for lifted vehicles running any tire larger than stock applications. Ball and socket are assembled using an exclusive threaded preload system that insure precise tolerances for prolonged joint life and precise steering. Ball & shaft are constructed from industry leading SAE 4140 Chromolly steel. Combined with steel insert ensures that these ball joints are an industry leader in durability and strength.

Took care of the death wobble good price and the quality seems to be good have had them on for a couple of years and no problems

Alloy USA HD Ball Joints are a noticeable step up. Beginnings of death wobble cured from my 120k mile stock type MOOG BJs. Steering is no harder but does feel slightly more confidence inspiring even under normal driving conditions. Well Done Alloy USA.

Solved the problem with death wobble AND steering is much smoother. They will be labor intensive to put on but are well worth it. Would recommend professional install if you are technically savvy!

What adapter for your grease gun do you need in order to grease the lower joints?
It just requires a needle-type fitting to fill the lower joints. You can temporarily install the zerk fitting, grease the joint, then install it. This makes for an overall easier installation process.

Will this work on the D30 and the D44?
Yes the knuckle is the same for both axles.
