Description
The Crown Automotive Backing Plate Assembly Kit for Grand Cherokees with disc brakes will restore your parking brake system to its original holding power. Of course you can purchase all of the parts separately and build it yourself, but with this Crown assembly you can have the components assembled at the factory and reduce your time in the garage. The backing plates do not accommodate ABS sensors, so drilling will be needed if you are installing this on a vehicle equipped with factory Anti-Lock Brakes.

I ordered these for a disc swap on my 2000 xj. They fit perfectly. For the swap, I ordered these, 1998 zj rear calipers, zj brake pads, zj rear rotors, 1998 ford explorer emergency brake cables (left and right) and 10 front lug studs for the xj. The shipping was very fast for these too. Ordered on a Friday, received on Sunday (2 days).

ordered the backing plate kit. where to drill for ABS sensors? do I use the old plate to line up? help..
The backing plates do not accommodate ABS sensors, so drilling will be needed if you are installing this on a vehicle equipped with factory Anti-Lock Brakes. Using your older model as a template would be advised. Thanks for your inquiry.

Will this work on a 1998 zj 5.9 limited with a Dana 44 rear end
This should be okay with Dana 44 rear axles. Checking the original fitment, Jeep does not differentiate between 35 and 44
