This valve cover fit on my 1982 CJ7 258ci, but just barely. Some holes lined up fine. Others not so much. I had to pry on the cover to get all the holes to line up. This is a difficult task when you are trying to keep from smearing permatex all over the place. I guess this is a better option than the aluminum valve covers that say you have to drill and tap your cylinder head to match the bolt holes on the valve cover! Why not leave the valve cover blank and drill holes in it to match the bolts on your engine? That seems like a much better option to me.
