Gone to Moab in hot summer. Kept my trans cool. I remember driving on highway at +100 degrees I’d put my hand in the bottom of console. It’s veeery hot. After installing this trans cooler. I’d put my hand down there. It’s not even hot. Just warm. Very happy with it

Quadratec mailed this out quick, had it within days. My issue is with Derale. I really wanted to like the cooler. I haven't had good luck with Derale lately but I took a chance. Labeled as a direct fit for 97'-06' Tj. I have an 04' 4.0 6cyl. It mounts driver side behind the skid plate. Bolted up fine, easy to wire, etc. I run the hoses and the cooler feed hose is about 6" (minimum) too short just to make it to the radiator, more if you actually plan to clear the exhaust. I plan to get a longer length of hose cut in the morning. Such a small detail that could have made this a 5 star review. Now I have to buy MORE hose and clamps.
