Excellent lights & build quality. Can’t go wrong!

Install was straight forward though there were no instructions.
What wasn't sure was what were two packets of yellow gel like substance came in box were for? Can you please let me know if needed for install?
Quadratec: They are dielectric grease for the electrical connections, not required but help prevent corrosion inside the plug connections

These lights are terrible you can not see anything in front of you but a huge white blob. Also they shine to the sides. These are unsafe

The packets you are referring to are dielectric grease. They are intended to be put on the plug terminals before they are connected to the vehicle. The grease helps repel water and prevent contact corrosion. It is highly recommended that they be used. Thanks for your inquiry.
