Rugged Ridge 15250.01 Rim Protector in Polished Stainless Steel For Rugged Ridge XHD Wheels

I bought these to cover some unsightly corrosion that was happening on the rugged ridge XHD rims I bought with the machined lip. When I received them, I was a little disappointed because they were almost chrome-like. I was hoping for more Of a true stainless look. I almost sent them back, but at the last minute decided to be crazy and scuff the shine off of them. Using Progressively finer sand papers (ending at 400 grit), I scuffed these down to a beautiful matte stainless look. I love them now! Get compliments all the time and they look much better than the wheels did by themselves. I did not use the shiny screws that came with the rim protectors, I used the original ones that came in the wheel.

These serve a purpose when off road keeping scratches off your expensive wheels, but don't bother if you don't take it off road unless your in it for the show!
