Description
Omix takes pride in being one of the few manufacturers strong enough to stand behind the legendary Jeep name. This Steel Body Tub made from 18 gauge steel front and rear flooring, all mounting brackets, top cowl assembly, and wheel housings as well as 16 gauge steel used for all side and tail panels. Manufactured using a seven-step metal preparation process, including: A 5 bath dip to totally eliminate rust, dirt and grease; a phosphate and acid rinse step to ensure corrosion resistance and proper adhesion of the primer; new primer formula and application method that is designed for smooth and even finish. Includes all major factory mounting locations, including channels for body mounting. Dashes and shifter tunnels left blank in some applications with varied OE locations.

I got this tub due to major rust on my 73 cj5 original tub. The tub came packaged upright on its side with a decent amount of padding. The body was in good condition when it arrived. The body had all of the original indents (besides the jeep logos). The body came with most of the dash cutouts already done, but some small things such as the driving column hole were not included. The primer looks cheaper, so I would recommend spraying a better primer on it. But overall the body looks almost exactly the same as the original. The does need some body work due to the tack welds and other things. Overall, it was in a very good condition but does need cutting and fitting as shared in the description of the product. I am very happy with it.
