Reviews for Quadratec Billet Aluminum Grille Inserts for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Screws began to rust days after I installed them
Look great, They protect the radiator from flying debris. Took about 40 minutes to install. The easiest way to install was put the mounting bars on loosely and slide them through the grill opening and re-adjust and tighten. They look better than the snap in units.
Fitment is pretty loose on most, so they move around a little bit. Screws were cheap and poorly finished so the paint came off right away and all of them rusted within a week or two. They achieve the overall look I was going for but leave a lot to be desired. I'll probably be replacing them with something better in the near future.
You get what you pay for. Out of 7, 2 of them actually tightening up. The problem is the back brackets thighten up against the insert but leaves about 1/16 too much space, so they giggle around, and I can see them falling out on the trail. Look at others.
Not the easiest. Just takes a little finessing and patience. Paint chips rather easy and the screws rusted right away. Best fix was black nail polish. Looks superb altogether
