Reviews for Quadratec Premium Large Distressed Star Decal
Tie in with US Army vehicle markings... some time int he past.
Looks great
This my second star on this Jeep. Both were easy to install. The first one I had a friend help, we used the dry method. I was pretty easy, that star was on the Jeep for about 2 years with no problem. I had forgotten you weren't supposed to take it through the carwash. I did several times with no problems, both brush and brushless. No guarantee, but mine held up pretty well. I removed the first star when I install hood vents. It was easy to remove. I just picked at it until I got a loose corner then pulled carefully. Came off in pretty large sections. Then cleaned it up with GooGone and rubbing alcohol. This time I used the wet method to install it. I think it was easier and so far anyway it's still in place and looks good.
Installs easily and looks great. Use the wet method and carefully peal off the backing paper while using the squeegee to remove any left over water or lay the decal flat. After care is clean as normal and you and wax over it. Wouldn't recommend going through an automated carwash with any vinyl decal.
Distressed Star is a little tricky. You have to be patient when peeling. So many edges.
A little trick to apply. The small edges tend to peal up during application. Definitely use wer method!
Arrived rolled in a tube with the instructions and squeegee tool. If you follow the instructions carefully, the installation will be a breeze. I only wish the documentation covered more on care after installation regarding car cleaning, polishing, and waxing.
