Description

Kentrol's door hinge liners are designed to be a replacement for the factory door hinge bushings that are prone to deterioration over time and eventually fail. The black Derlin bushings come as a set complete for both driver and passenger side doors for the front and rear doors. The kit includes a handy installation tool for easy removal of the factory bushings. This kit fits the Wrangler JK 4 Door vehicle.

Great product. I have a 2023 JLUR and it’s sometimes troubling to pull up the doors with the hinge pins getting stuck. I swapped out the thin metal factory ones for these Kentrol bushing sleeves. Put my doors in also just now and they slid right in.

Questions

I replaced my factory liners with these. Seemed to have no problems. Just this week had some rain and noticed the floor of my wrangler had puddles. Could it be due to these?
Door hinge liners have no way that I can conceive that they would cause a water intrusion. Any leaks and water would be more doe to a failure of door or hardtop Targa seal weather stripping. On soft top equipped Jeeps the foam seals on the header assembly and door surrounds should be inspected for wear and tear. Thanks for your inquiry.
Will these work on a Gladiator?

are all jeep wranglers door hinge bushing the same size such as 1992 and 2017?
No the JK and earlier Wrangler models are not the same. The earlier hinges (94-99) actually have a taper to them that does not exist in 2000 and newer hinges. There are specific fitments for each group of hinges
