Description
Jeep Performance Rock Rails are designed to be both functional and decorative on your 4 door Wrangler JL. These rock rails are designed for the serious off roader and provide much needed body protection from rocks and road debris. Performance rock rails are manufactured from heavy gauge steel and roll formed for superior strength. Rock Rails are first zinc coated for superior corrosion resistance, e-coated and then sprayed a Black PPG Durabull® extreme duty bed liner coating providing superior protection and durability.

Replaced my factory Rubicon rails with these and I am nothing but satisfied with the MOPAR performance rails. Easy install and a great upgrade! Only complaint is the price but you will get what you pay for!

I replaced the plastic steps that came on my Sahara with these Rock Rails. I didn’t like the look of the steps and they stuck out too far for me. The Rock Rails went on easily and look much better. I do take my Jeep off-roading and felt those plastic steps were just waiting to get smashed off. Now I have added clearance and if i do hit a rock with them it’s no problem.

I just received and Installed them. The quality appears to be second to none, and the ease of installation is awesome. They stick out just enough not only to really protect the Jeep but to also work as a step.

Questions

According to MOPAR's site these are fitted on 2020-2022. I had these on my 2021 but since 2023 I can no longer add these as an option for 2023/2024 builds through Jeep. Has this been confirmed to work on 2023? And assuming if so, should also work on a 2024? Was hoping to purchase these after my new 2024 order comes in.
Mopar parts data shows coverage through 2022 model years. They have not yet added 2023 or 2024. Thanks for your inquiry.
Do these fit a 2021 JLU with the Extreme Recon package?
They can be mounted, but the rock rails factory on the Extreme Recon trim level will need to be removed prior to installing the performance rock rails. They will not both work with one another. Thanks for your inquiry.
Will I have to remove my factory 2021 JLU Rubicon Rock Sliders (no step) to install these?
Yes you will. These have a Rock Rail integrated into the design, in addition to the step ledge. You will not be losing any protection factor.
