Description
This is perhaps the most advanced and complete soft top kit for a Wrangler that has ever been developed. Bestop® 30-oz. triple-layer Black Twill fabric Replace-a Top has superior durability to other fabrics used on Jeep® soft tops. This is the same Black Twill fabric that's found on high-end sports and luxury cars like BMW and Rolls Royce. It features a smooth wrinkle-resistant appearance and contains no PVC's. The new fabric is much more flexible with a softer feel and superior cold-weather performance even when compared to sailcloth fabric. The industry-leading 40-mil, D.O.T. approved vinyl side and rear windows have 31% tint to help keep interior cooler in warm weather. Removable and replaceable side and rear windows feature top of the line YKK scoop count zippers as well as extended surface heat-sealing for strength and protection from climate extremes. The top uses 135 gauge polyester industrial thread throughout with finished seams for lifelong durability. Premium factory style hardware is black powder-coated for corrosion and scratch resistance. Features also include a Bestop exclusive Top Arch Bar, Quick-release Bow Knuckles and adjustable tensioning, just like standard Supertop NX. The Bestop exclusive Flip-back Sunrider sunroof panel provides an open air experience. If that wasn't enough a Limited Lifetime Warranty is included, the only soft top you can buy with a warranty this strong!

Everyone is talking about the Twill. I decided to bite the bullet and buy the best top as I want a good product and don't want to regret not doing it later and paying to upgrade.

Questions

How does it hold up with snow and ice?
Absolutely it will, but be very careful with soft windows in wintry conditions due to cold weather cracking that can occur when your warm temperature of a persons hand makes contact cold window material. Cases of cold weather cracking are not covered under the soft top's warranty. Thanks for your inquiry.
Does this top fold completely down as well?

I would like to upgrade my current original top and frame to this style. Is there anything else I would require to swap it out? Will is still clip over my windshield the same?
This will come complete and the way the front header clamps into the windshield frame is the same type of design as a factory top, but this will add the Sunrider for those who were not equipped, which is a very nice added feature. Thanks for your inquiry.
