Teraflex Rear Utility Cargo Rack for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door with Hardtop

Couldn't be happier. This cargo rack feels solid, had good instructions in the box, and was easy to install. Watch the video of the install on YouTube for even better instructions. One note: I previously installed risers on my backseat to make the angle more comfortable. Because of those, this cargo rack fits pretty snug! It works, but just barely.

Very easy install, though time consuming. Some of the screw mounts in the corners are tough to get to, but once you get one, you will be able to get them all complete. The shelf is height adjustable, but it involves removing three screws on each side and then to re-install them. If you don't have two people, it can be a huge pain. Since I live alone, I made great use of jack stands to hold the shelf in place while i set the screw. Overall, I would buy it again!

I bought the black version of the cargo rack along with the optional side panels. The assembly is tedious but Teraflex has a good video that shows step by step installation. I installed it on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in the winter with my hard top still on. Mounting the rack in the cargo area was also tedious in trying to get the 3 bolts aligned and tightened to the roll bar mounts on each size. It is probably much easier to mount with the hard top off. Once installed, the rack is awesome. It allows 3 different height adjustments. I specifically bought this rack because it looked like it would be usable with my cargo area dust cover in the summer. And it looks like it would allow enough space underneath it even at the lowest setting. I just took a trip to and from the airport and was able to fit an oversized soft sided suitcase on the rack with no problem, although it will of course restrict your rear view. When the rack is empty, it does vibrate audibly. I will be looking for a way to dampen this noise. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I had researched this rack on YouTube before purchasing. There were videos showing a cargo net and hooks that used the t-slot nut system to attach the net. Teraflex doesn't offer this set up but I contacted them and they actually sent me some hooks and nuts and recommended a cargo net to attach. I went with a different one that was cheaper but worked very well (search for AndyGo cargo envelope style trunk net for Jeep Wrangler). At over $400, this is a pricey add-on but I think you get some quality for that price.
