Fishbone Offroad Steering Box Skid Plate Reviews
Mounted on 2006 TJ. Great armor protection for my Heavy Duty Borgeson Steering Shafts and my PSC Big Bore Steering Gearbox. My son painted Impact Orange to match the Jeep body color.
I choose this steering box skid plate because I have a tubular front bumper on my 99 Jeep Wrangler right now and want to change it in the future to a straight bumper. This skid plate has the option for me to attach it to the cross brace right now, plus when I change my bumper I can use the additional hole to attach it to the bumper. Other manufacturers only offer one or the other mounting points but Fishbone gives you both. It is a well made, very stout and a quality product. Fit and finish were spot on also it came very well packaged.
Easy to mount and great insurance for the money.
