Quadratec Wrap-Up of the 11th Annual All Breeds PA Jeeps Show in York, PA

Late July means it is time once again for the annual PA Jeeps show in scenic York, Pennsylvania. Quadratec's West Chester, Pennsylvania Headquarters is less than two hours travel time from York. The Quadratec crew goes all-out to participate in the All Breeds show, which is one of the fastest growing shows for Jeep in the whole country.
As the 2006 premier sponsor for the event, we did our best to make sure that we made the organizers proud, and also exceeded our customers' expectations at the same time.
From the early feedback, it appears we have done just that.
On Saturday, the fun started early in the morning, and the grounds rapidly filled-up. We knew it was going to be a great event! The weather forecast was calling for major storms in the afternoon. Regardless, we hoped for the best and went straight to work helping attendees with everything from choosing the right axle assembly, to outfitting them with our wide selection of Jeep logo clothing. We also had a cool surprise for everyone. Our famous 2006 catalog cover model, the beautiful Bree Andre arrived at 10 AM to the delight of both young & old to sign posters and greet the enthusiastic crowd. She autographed posters, answered questions and posed for a ton of photos with excited fans. Bree is a great sport and a true enthusiast!
As the morning rolled on, the range of different breeds of Jeep vehicles at the show continued to inspire and amaze us. You name it, and it was there! Everything from historic military Jeeps to brand new super-modified Rubicon Unlimiteds were in attendance. Cherokee, Liberty, Wrangler and CJ were all very well represented.
It was a paradise for those who eat, sleep and breathe all things Jeep.
By noon the grounds were packed, and the judging classes were getting organized.
The "stockers" were shined and the modified vehicles were fine-tuned. Everyone hoped the weather would hold out. Luckily, the dark and menacing sky held-off and failed to rain on our parade. Enthusiasts combed each row, taking in the awesome displays of vehicles and vendors. Various vehicles ran the obstacle course and some more "extreme" rigs put on quite a spectacular show. The obstacle course was even better than last year and the PA Jeeps volunteers did a fantastic job spotting the course and keeping everyone safe. After a very successful Saturday, the Quadratec crew closed-up shop and went to rest-up for day 2.
As the sun came up Sunday, we headed off to the Expo Center for what looked to be a picture perfect day for a Jeep show, and we were not disappointed. Cooler temperatures and reduced humidity made for a really great day. The Quadratec crew was hard at work serving everyone who visited our display. We offered some irresistible special deals that had the attendees virtually running for our tables. Bree posed for still more pictures and signed posters. Attendees also enjoyed some Quadratec giveaway "shirt-launching".
By the time the winners were announced around 3 PM, it was time to pack up from our whirlwind weekend. The class winners received trophies, and our own Bob Jara took third place in the Modified CJ-5 class. Congratulations Bob!
Quadratec departed another great show, tired but happy, knowing we participated in one of the best Jeep shows in the country. We're already looking forward to 2007 and hope to see everyone there again, along with a whole new crop of enthusiasts.
