hello. Bought my 95YJ used. Was told it had a Best Top on it. Not sure if the hard wear is factory or best top. Would like to order a Quadratec replacement top. How can I tell if the hard wear is factory or would it matter?
If the roof material connects using 5 snap studs above the upper door area the framework would be OE style, A Bestop Supertop framework assembly will not have the snaps studs of each side. The fabric will wrap around a thin black metal rod the use velcro to secure to the bow. The door frame area where it meets up with the top will have a round contour. The Supertop was designed for Jeeps with a full steel doors so, that's why the Supertop upper door set is also a rounded style. Hi - I have a 95 YJ with full sized metal doors and original OEM hardtop. Can I use this top for my Jeep? I have no interest in buying a set of half doors at this time.

No, unfortunately this top will not work on YJ's equipped with the full factory steel doors and hardtop. This is due to the radius corners on the full factory steel doors and the boxed upper rear corner on the factory OEM soft top.
