The Optima 75/25 RedTop Battery is designed for the 2002 through 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ applications that require optimal starting power with the strongest starting burst. A great option for a stock TJ that and can be mounted in any position.
These ultra-heavy duty batteries with Spiralcell technology provide 720 Cold Cranking Amps at 0 degrees F for easy starting in the coldest conditions. Spiralcell construction is more resistant to shock and vibration than normal batteries, and is perfectly suited for the off-road. These completely sealed batteries never need water or maintenance of any kind. If one needs charging, it can be fully recharged in about three hours.
Ultimate Optima RedTop Starting Reliability: The high purity lead grid in the Optima RedTop battery has a self discharge rate much lower than conventional flat plate batteries. This means the Optima can sit for longer periods of time, while retaining enough charge to start your vehicle. Depending on storage temperature this battery can usually sit for 8 to 12 months and still start.
Off-Road Vibration Resistant: Optima batteries offer 15 times the vibration resistance and up to three times the life of ordinary batteries. Optima's unique spirelcell design offers the greatest technology in providing a strong and clean power source. With Optima under the hood of your Jeep, you can count on a longer lasting battery.

Optima Battery Storage: When possible, store your battery in a cool, dry location. Check the battery voltage every 6 months and charge if it falls below 12.6 volts. Remember, newer vehicles with on-board electronics such as computers, clocks, etc., require battery power to retain system memory while the vehicle is parked. If the vehicle is to be stored for long periods you should use a maintenance charger to compensate for this drain. This charger should be voltage regulated between 13.2 - 13.8 volts, 1 amp maximum. On older vehicles, without electronics, disconnect the battery cables when the vehicle is not being used for extended periods.
