These speakers make an amazing difference in both volume and sound quality. Only take about a half hour to put in and the instructions are dead on for the install. i highly recommend these to anyone looking to hear the radio when the top is down on your Jeep.

These speakers are amazing. I am nowhere near a professional when it comes to wiring and electronics but these were almost too easy to install, just unscrew the old ones clip and screw in the new ones and you are good. The quality on these speakers are such an incredible upgrade from the stock speakers. The speakers ship through a third party, and Bob from CFE Products was so helpful. For anyone that is looking for great customer service from Bob, a super easy install, and a significant upgrade to your jeeps sound system these speakers are for you!

Is there a replacement option for the factory premium system? One of mine sounds blown when the volume is only turned up half way.
Unfortunately, there is not a replacement that we offer that is a direct replacement for sound bar speakers if equipped with the premium sound. Sorry for the inconvenience.
What does the button switch do on the cone ?
The button adjusts the level of the output of the tweeter. When the button is out, the tweeter level matches the woofer cone perfectly. When the button is pushed in, it increases the output of the tweeter by +3db. This add a little more sizzle to the sound. The button is accessible so the customer can adjust according to their taste. Why are these priced as is.. The Pods are $139 and speaker around $109. Is there something else about these that I am missing. these should be no-more than $250 by price comprising. The speakers are JBL 652sq or something else? The pods are $139?
This is a non-compromised system using only premium quality products to maximize the sound quality. A bigger speaker in a box that is too small can actually sound worse than the smaller speaker that was taken out. 1. That model JBL Speaker will not fit in the pods because the diameter of the magnet is too big. 2. The pod itself is made from thin plastic which is susceptible to warping and can buzz. It does not adequately increase the internal volume to give you maximum performance from a 6.5 speaker upgrade. A larger speaker requires larger box or the speaker volume could be reduced. 3. The mounting plate of our system is made of 3/4" MDF which is CNC machined for a perfect fit and is non resonant (no buzzing). It is sprayed with a special primer sealer and then a color matched paint and finally a satin clear coat. 4. The speaker has a gasket and the mounting plate has a gasket for a proper seal and no buzzing. 5. The back of the mounting plate is routed out to increase the internal volume of the sound bar. 6. A custom high density foam spacer attaches to the mounting plate which further increases the internal volume of the sound bar. This adds to increased efficiency and more accurate bass performance. The stock sound bar in the JL and JT is not big enough to accommodate a 6.5 speaker. Even if you are willing to cut up the sound bar like other kits require, you still end up with an internal volume too small for a 6.5 speaker. 7. Comes fully assembled and is 100% plug and play.
