If you are taking your bikes with you to hit the trails and have a 2" hitch bike rack, you can come across the obstacle of being unable to open your tailgate to get your coolers or other gear. Yakima has a great solution with their BackSwing Hitch Adapter. This adapter simply fits in your 2" receiver hitch giving you the ability to swing out your bike rack, with the bike's still on it, leaving you with ample room to open your tailgate.
