Skid Row Offroad JP0101 Offroad Lower Control Arm Skid Plates for 84-06 Jeep® Cherokee XJ, Comanche MJ, Grand Cherokee ZJ, Wrangler TJ & Unlimited

Catalog #: 12529.200
Skid Row Offroad Part #: JP0101
Description
These skid plates are completely bolt-on and protect the mounting tabs of the lower control arms on the Dana 30 or 44 front axle. Why does this matter? Simply because the mounting tabs are among the first parts to hit the rocks and they are pretty easily damaged. They're made of surprisingly thin material and we've seen and heard of them being literally torn off while wheeling.
Details

These skid plates are built to take a beating while protecting your lower control arms. They are made from 1/4" steel plate and use custom-bent, Grade 5 U-bolts to mount to your Dana 30 front axle. They fit tight against the sway bar mounting tab on one side and up against the axle housing on the other. The units are designed to fit with either stock or after-market control arms. For applications with aftermarket control arms the new high clearance model is designed to provide maximum ground clearance along with the protection you expect from Skid Row.
