We all know that CJ's came with a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern and that YJ's, KJ's, XJ's, ZJ's and TJ's came with a 5 on 4.5 pattern. Well, just to screw up the mix the new 2007 Wrangler JK comes with a 5 on 5 pattern. Suppose you upgraded your stock axles on your TJ to the larger 5 on 5.5 pattern, but your tire carrier only holds the stock smaller pattern, and you haven't ordered your AtoZ Spare Tire Carrier yet...you need some way to mount your larger pattern 5 on 5.5 wheels to your tail gate. We have the solution! The AtoZ Universal Jeep Spare Tire Adapter allows you to mix any Jeep pattern to any Jeep pattern. If your running wheel adapters to fit the new JK 5 on 5 wheels...you can now run a matching spare. This also allows the JK Wrangler to run a larger tire on the stock carrier as it moves the tire up and out to miss the bumper and the third brake light. Simply install the wheel studs, included in the kit along with a nifty installation helper, to match the pattern you need and your all set. You can now run the rim of your choosing and it moves it up and out about 3 inches over all! This is a unique item that only AtoZ Fabrication can offer you.
