Crown Automotive 1st & 2nd Gear Shift Fork Reviews
Excellent replacement. Replaced the worn shift fork on T176 in my Jeep CJ. Fit was perfect.
DO NOT BUY THIS CROWN SHIFT FORK! Shaft would only go in about a half inch from both ends. It was almost like it was drilled halfway from each side and they didn't line up. Ended up running emery cloth through it to get it fit. Machining of the hole for the shaft was off enough that the forks leaned back and couldn't fully mesh first gear and would kick out of gear, and I ended up having to replace it. From reviews on this site and others, it looks like I'm not the only one who has had this problem The OMIX brand fork was also poorly machined, see my review there about the issues with it. If you can find a used one in good condition, get that instead.
The machining was crap and would not work!
