Be sure to remove old race for old bearing inside axle tube. New bearing has new race attached to bearing as one piece - no need to separate. You Will need a shop press to install new bearing to axle shaft. To remove old parts from axle: Use a bolt cutter to cut off outer rubber seal and old bearing cage and remove. Heat remaining bearing Sleeve and Retainer Ring with small propane torch and press off axle. Do not heat new bearing to install. Clean axle bearing surface and press on parts in proper order: Outside Plate - Outer Shaft Seal(usually black, inner spring facing inward) - Bearing(with race side inward) - Metal Retainer Ring. You can also change the Inner Axle Oil Seal and remember to pack new bearing with axle grease(EP).
