Six-Gun® Diesel Tuner
Banks' Six-Gun Diesel Tuner provides industry's highest proven horsepower and torque, with six levels of power easily adjustable on-the-fly. It's Stacked for Power to tune all three diesel fueling parameters—pulse width, timing and fuel pressure—all in one device. Plug-and-play Six-Gun Tuner contains AutoRate, an electronic powertrain management system that automatically adjusts power output to a safe level for prevailing conditions. AutoRate includes: torque converter clutch lockup protection; transmission slip detection; safe-range turbo calibration; exhaust gas temperature limiting (with PowerPDA, Speed-Loader or optional thermocouple); and cold engine protection. ActiveSafety features further safeguard the engine and transmission by ensuring that Six-Gun electronics will in no way impact the durability or function of the onboard electronics. Banks PowerPDA® Vehicle Command Center
This easy-to-use, full-color touch-screen interface to Six-Gun and your pickup puts total vehicle command at your fingertips. It displays exhaust gas temperature (EGT), boost and more—including two user-selectable engine functions (17 displayable items altogether)—and can custom-tune numerous Six-Gun parameters. Use it to change power levels on-the-fly at the push of a button … read and clear vehicle diagnostic codes … and time 0-60 mph, 1/4- and 1/8-mile performance tests, logging EGT and boost for later review. Banks PowerPDA adds another power level to Six-Gun—21 hp and 32 lb-ft—and includes a high-quality thermocouple for EGT limiting. That's not all: it has on-screen and audible warnings based on coolant temp, EGT and more; has built-in Bluetooth® and infrared wireless capability; and includes a customized dash-mounted docking station with integral router utilizing exclusive BanksBus™ communication protocol. It's portable, too—just slip it out and take it with you. What's more, with Banks PowerPDA you have the endless functionality of the Palm® Tungsten™ E2 PDA (sold separately).
Ram-Air® Intake System
Designed and engineered from the ground-up, Banks Ram-Air intake system offers factory reliability and durability with 42% better airflow than stock. Instead of a panel-style filter, the Ram-Air Intake uses Banks' exclusive 360° hanging air filter with the largest filtering area of any system available, and a giant 7-1/8” outlet. The filter's 8-layer design traps moisture, dust and debris on the oiled, outer surface, and lets air easily pass through. Restrictions are removed throughout the system; the streamlined ducting and large filter cover promote airflow, and the enclosed cold-air box keeps hot engine air out of the intake. Exclusive 4-1/2” bellows accommodate engine movement, keeping a tight seal between the turbo and the intake system. Flowbench developed and dyno-proven, Banks Ram-Air intake system adds up to +39 hp and +69 lb-ft more than a tuner alone! Includes a service kit for use every 30,000-50,000 miles.
Monster® Exhaust
Banks 4” Monster exhaust system flows up to 176% better than stock. The streamlined head pipe assembly (non-cat.-converter equipped vehicles only), intermediate pipe(s) and tailpipe are formed of stainless, heavy-wall tubing with constant-diameter bends that virtually eliminate backpressure. Monster exhaust has a huge 5" polished-stainless rolled-edge tailpipe tip; the double-walled design with 1/2" air gap keeps heat from tarnishing the exterior mirror finish. Adjustable clamp for positioning on tailpipe (single system only). The new Diesel Duals system (shown) offers two awesome-looking 6” X 5” ob-round polished-stainless angle-cut rolled-edge tailpipe tips (patent pending)—one on each side—that deliver the distinctive Monster sound in throaty stereo. The system is engineered to safely clear the spare tire, shocks and brake lines.
Monster® muffler
Replaces the factory's restrictive muffler with Banks' polished-stainless steel Monster muffler, featuring a straight-through 4"-diameter flow-path with Banks' designed expansion chamber, which dissipates the annoying mid-range exhaust drone so prominent in competitors' straight-through mufflers. Flows up to 201% better than stock. Utilizes spun ceramic, very-high-temperature packing. Delivers an authoritative—but never intrusive—exhaust sound.
BigHead® Wastegate Actuator
With twice the diaphragm area and spring pressure of the stock wastegate, Banks BigHead keeps the valve seated longer. BigHead produces massive torque right from idle, achieves a higher peak boost, sooner, and maintains more boost throughout the powerband by eliminating premature wastegate blow-open.
