Rough casting on the yoke, but a good upgrade over the strap style u-joint cap retention. Fit my 1983 CJ-7 perfectly.

Questions

Don't all AMC 20 axles have a 29 spline count? If this yoke is only 28 splines then it isn't going to fit? Please education me.
The axle shafts are 29 spline. The AMC 20 Differential yoke has a 28 spline count for fit which is original.
Is this 28 splines ?
