This is a great addition to my Jeep wrangler. It was fairly easy to install as I watched the video and also used the manual instructions. I had help and the whole install took about an hour. It is now super easy to open to enjoy the open skies.

I Love it! Super convenient and replaces the Freedom panels and installs easily with no drilling or modifications required, and it comes with all the necessary hardware. Its easy to flip back the front section to enjoy open skies right from your front seats.

install took about an hour. Grab a friend to help you lift onto vehicle. One thing to look out for!!! In Quadratec's install video it has you assemble top by putting rails on roll bars then attaching top to those and using "Z" clips to attach fabric. The top I received had a different setup where instead of the clips it was eyehole nuts on end of cables that you had to attach with screws and nuts. Having changed this step means you have to assemble the whole top before installing on roll bars or you can not get the screws and nut assembly together. Don't know if there was a fault with the z-clips and they changed the design or they are making different tops? Either way you have to pre-assemble the unit if you have the screw and nut setup, before installing the unit. Besides that love the ease of use. Also I've personally got into a bad habit of when parking I pull the top closed without latching, just so a bird doesn't leave me a present when I get in. A few times now I've taken off and at about 20mph the top flips open by itself in the wind. I can't imagine this is good. I've been breaking myself of this habit because I don't want to break the thing or my rear hardtop. Don't be like me.

I love this Sunrider top. It was really easy to install. It took about 45 minutes to complete.
It’s so nice to come out of work on a sunny day and pop the top. Have not had any leaks and we have had some really heavy rain since we put it on.

Easy install and easy to use

Hubby & I Installed on my 2018 JLU in appx 60 minutes today.
Instructions that arrived with the top differ a lot from the install shown in the Quadratec video which is featured on this product page. Perhaps there has been a product design revision but the current install uses eyelets, not Z-clips. The manufacturer also recommends attaching the brackets to the top proper prior to placing onto the jeep. None of these things impacted the install difficulty or time to complete, it just widely varied from QT’s video. Not sure why the outdated content is still shown. Looking forward to using this new top all summer long.
