When installing the entire tape strip came off instead of just the red backing. It cant be reused. I assume i can just purchase 3am double sided tape to install, but would like to confirm the exact type of tape needed to avoid damage.
Yes, you can certainly use an aftermarket adhesive to save your entry guards. For the Quadratec Custom Fit Entry Guards, the standard factory-applied adhesive is 3M VHB (Very High Bond) Tape. Specific recommendation: 3M VHB Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape (06382 or 06383).

The rear guards came loose and fell off. I was able to find one but the other is probably in a parking lot somewhere. Is there a way to order a single rear passenger side guard?
