Can this product become a noise reducer for a soft top on jeep wrangler Jk
This is replacement fabric for a soft top. Twill fabric, compared to black diamond or denim, is the best at noise reduction of the soft top fabrics.

Have a factory Hard Top. Will this work when I take the Hard Top for the summer?
Yes, it will. You will need to purchase door surrounds, as that is the only part you need that is not included in the kit. If you already had a soft top, you would re use those.

Quadratec response wasn't clear to the original question asked. Therefore, if I do NOT have a soft top, NEVER had a soft top, and ONLY have a factory hardtop, do I need any additional parts for this top? Meaning, I do not know if surrounds come with a hardtop or really what "surrounds" are and if "surrounds" DO NOT come with factory hardtop, is there a link to what "surrounds" is needed to install this top?
A door surround kit would be required if you are a hardtop only equipped model. Please see the set in the experts recommended section of the webpage. Sorry for any confusion.

Can this top be installed and then left in place while putting the hard top back on?
No, it cannot. It will need to be removed prior to hardtop being reinstalled. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So 2 different answers about door surrounds,one said you need them ,the other said you didn't. Does this top work without the surrounds ? And what does having the surrounds exactly do? I'm looking for a safari/Bimini top for a 4 door 2013,I have a hard top and just want something that is easily accessible for rain days ,therefore enabling mebto leave the hardtop off. So also looking for the best weather protection-wise as well, waterproof or highly water repellent. Thanks
If you do not already have door surrounds on your Jeep, they will be required to use this product. And if you want a weatherproof option, you will need to purchase a soft top. There are no weatherproof bikini/bimini options.

Can this top be used WITHOUT door surrounds? I have a 2015 JKU hardtop and want to use this for the summer.
Bimini Top Plus design will work with or without factory door surrounds. The best looks and performance are achieved with use of door surrounds. If not present, we suggest you purchase door surrounds separately.
